Dearest Diary Readers, welcome to 2024! I'm so excited to share more gossip with you this year, hopefully much more frequently than last year, and to start I thought we would discuss a pretty boiling hot cup of tea today as a self present for getting to this year. (and by the way no, none of my goals were to stop gossiping because that's lowkey inhumane and I knew I would fail 😂😂)
Recently I took a little vacation to Chestnut Ridge over the holidays to gather gossip and rest my writers wrist, and while I was there I overheard and saw some pretty interesting conversations and got all of the dirty details surrounding them.
So to start with I need to introduce the star of this post. Miss Cristina Watson of Chestnut Ridge, who is cheerful, neat, and a bookworm. She has an adorable brown bob and hazel eyes, and moved into Chestnut Ridge with no money, the a duffel bag of clothes and a dream to own a Ranch someday.
She's honestly quite adorable, and I love her horse Speedway, who by the way has one two bronze medals and one gold medal in Endurance Racing. She's made most of her money gardening and selling Nectar to Roberto Crinkletop (definitely doing a post on him later) although she did do some horse training for her neighbors before adopting Speedway. Since then its mostly been her other two streams of revenue.
While I was in Chestnut Ridge, it happened to be Harvestfest and I was informed of a club for singles to meet and romance, was hosting a Harvestfest at the newest members house. And would you believe it but the hostess herself was Cristina! The other three members of the club, Michael Bell, Knox Greenburg, and *insert name* were all invited and arrived shortly after the invitation was sent out.
Ironic that most of the club was male since it was currently hosting Harvestfest for those who didn't want to cook it themselves 🤣🤣🤣
*insert name* was very friendly to Cristina and even dumped the trash while he was there, but there was absolutely no spark between them when they tried to flirt so they're definitely just friends, which Cristina was fine with since other than her bestie Wren Garcia she didn't really have any friends.
Knox was particularly rude to Cristina, sending her mixed signals all evening. At first he was friendly and a little flirty, then he wasn't flirty at all in fact shutting down her flirtatious advances quite rudely, before trying to flirt with her again before leaving (which she was not a fan of)
What she was a fan of however was Mr. Michael Bell, the creature keeper of Henford on Bagley. He was a loner, animal enthusiast, and loved the outdoors like herself, and they got along wonderfully except for them both being a little shy with each other. (ah puppy love) He washed the dishes up after the meal and even took the trash out which I must say is husband material.
However shortly after the Singles club dismissed, and they headed home Cristina was asked out by none other than Simeon Silversweater to the bluffs for a casual and private date. She said yes as she had felt a small spark with him the night before when they met in the bar she went to for drinks with Wren.
It was beautiful as always at the bluffs and Cristina was glad she had made the journey and it was her first time there so she loved explore the old ruins. She took a swim in the pool with him and they chatted about hobbies and interests, how their day was, the weather, things that would've been boring to write about Diary Readers but was actually very interesting.
First of all she noticed the spark was rather dim in comparison to her and Michael's, and second of all while they were chatting about Harvestfest she discovered that Simeon had spent the day with family. Cute right? Actually it was the very opposite of cute! For his 'family' was his wife!
Appalled, shocked, and frankly disgusted that she went out with him, she went off on him, retreated from the pool and went home, blocking him and ignoring his pleas for communication. And according to my close sources she has plans to meet up with his wife to inform her of his infidelity.

Afterwards Cristina spent a lot of time gardening and training Speedway so there wasn't much gossip for a while, until she started spending more time with Michael that is. The club gathered again twice, and the last time they gathered Cristina noticed Michael was absent and was disappointed. She cut the gathering short and right as she did he called her up, using all of his bravery no doubt, and invited her out on a date!
She excitedly accepted and got ready to head to Henford on Bagley's Gnomes and Arms bar for dinner with Michael. They were both nervous but they seemed to be having a great time, laughing and flirting as if they had been dating for much longer.
Awkwardly though, halfway through their date, Cecilia Kang showed up and interrupted their date, chatting with Michael and then on her exiting saying 'oh I'm interrupting your date aren't I? I'll leave you two to it, I know when I was on a date with Michael I would've hated someone butting into our conversation'
I overheard the conversation and my mouth dropped open as I took notes for you all, because I wasn't about to forget a single word!
Michael was so nervous after that and rushed to explain they had an awkward date a long time ago that didn't progress further and that he wasn't lying when he said he was single. He was so worried that I don't think he noticed how funny Cristina thought the situation was.
Afterwards to help him calm down she gave him a quick shoulder massage which did help him destress. Then they headed to the sitting area to cuddle by the fire and chat.
They were so cute I did admittedly feel a little bad recording all of the gossip but hey, it's my job to entertain you guys so I kept going 🤣😉
Their date lasted hours and finally it got late enough she needed to head home and check on Speedway and head to bed to sell nectar in the morning to Roberto. She surprised Michael with a short kiss before leaving and his happy nervous walk out was adorable.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they were married before long, because they're so darn adorable. If they do I'll be sure to update you all with the gossip of the happenings, which she already left the Singles Club after another date with Michael and they made their own gardening club with another fellow couple and other gardening enthusiasts as I was writing this post so there's a mini update for you all 😉🤣.
